About Bone & Joint Research Lab
Bone and Joint Laboratory of the Orthopedic Research Center, with a space of more than two hundred square meters, is located on the ground floor of the library building of the Qaem Educational, Research, and Therapeutic Center. The laboratory was opened on May 1, 2018, with Dr. Ali Moradi as the director.
An interdisciplinary approach is used in all our research projects. Thanks to the membership of our team, which includes surgeons, tissue engineers, biomedical engineers (biomechanics, biomaterials, and bioelectric), and physiotherapists, we are able to address all the scientific aspects of orthopedics. The commitment of our research to translate laboratory results into a patient-specific therapeutic strategy is key. To accelerate the transition from our pilot and prototype work to commercial solutions, we count on a strong network inside the Bone and Joint Academic Lab, develop our projects with top worldwide research institutes, and work with industry.
