Dr. Neda Mostafaee received her PhD from Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in 2016. Currently, she is an assistant professor of Physical Therapy at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. Her research focuses on clinical questions related to enhancing prevention, assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions and related disability. Her interest in evidence-based practice has led her to conduct and collaborate in research projects in four main areas. First, determining the diagnostic accuracy of evaluative measures mainly physical examination and functional measures and center of pressure parameters to improve evidence-based diagnosis at the point of patient care. Second, validation and evaluating clinimetric properties of performance-based and patient-reported outcome measures to provide the standardized outcome measures for evaluating patient progress. Third, conducting Randomized Clinical Trials (RCT) on patients with musculoskeletal conditions to find the best and most effective method to alleviate pain-related disabilities. Fourth, investigating on the concept of cognition-motor control interplay and the impact of dual-task paradigms on rehabilitation programs in musculoskeletal injuries to improve patients’ outcomes. She is an international reviewer for more than 10 international journals (ISI, PubMed). She has supervised more than 20 proposals (MSc), published 25 peer-reviewed papers in ISI/PUBMED journals, co-authored two books, and had 16 presentations in the proceedings of international and national congresses. She has more than 10 years of experience in managing patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
