Dr. Ali Moradi, PhD

Dr. Ali Moradi received his MSc in Human Physiology from the Faculty of medicine, Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in 2001. Later, he received his PhD in Tissue Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Malaya, KL, Malaysia, in 2015. He is currently the research assistant professor of Tissue Engineering at Faculty of Medicine, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. He has been acting as the Dean for Research and Technology at the Comprehensive Center for Stem Cells and Reconstructive Medicine, Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. He established the “Bone and Joint Research Lab.” for the Orthopedic Research Center, in Ghaem Hospital in March/2018. He was the director of the “East Country Research Reference Lab.” between April/2018-December/2021.

Dr. Moradi is the associate editor of the Archives of Bone and Joint Surgery (ABJS) journal. He has supervised 7 MD and 2 PhD theses and is currently supervising 3 PhD and 2 MSc students.

He is a member of the Supreme Council of Orthopedic Research Center and member of the Health Technology Development Center in MUMS.

His research interests include: Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering for bone and cartilage and decellularized tissues for regenerative medicine.
