Dr. Hossein Negahban received his PhD from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2008. He is currently a Professor of Physiotherapy in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS). From 2019-2020, he was a research fellow of cognitive/balance impairments at Gait & Brain Lab, Western University, London, Ontario, Canada. Now, he is a member of the Supreme Council of Orthopedic Research Center in MUMS, a member of the research Committee in MUMS, and a member of Iran's National Foundation of Elites. He is also on the associate editor of the Archives of Bone and Joint Surgery (ABJS) journal. Additionally, he is an international reviewer for more than 15 international journals (ISI, PubMed). He has supervised more than sixty proposals (PhD, MSc), published 120 journal articles, most of them in ISI/PubMed journals (100 papers). His main research experiences can be categorized under three main headings:

1. Dual-Tasking Design by Linear and Non-linear Postural Sway Measures in Patients with Musculoskeletal and Neurological Disorders,
2. Development and Validation of Outcome Measurements in Rehabilitation Research, and
3. Reliability of Postural Sway

Moreover, he is a licensed Physical Therapist well-versed in a broad range of diagnosis and treatment for restoring function and movement.  Having 18 years’ experience of managing patients with musculoskeletal disorders especially those with knee and shoulder injuries and patients with low back pain in my country (Iran). Specifically, interested in working on neck and back pain patients by applying joint mobilization, soft tissue release, stabilization exercises, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. Also, expertise in treating geriatric and neurological patients including Stroke and Multiple Sclerosis.
