Dr. Kachooei performed one year of Clinical Hand and Upper extremity fellowship in 2021-2022 and one year of Clinical Foot and Ankle fellowship in 2020-2021 at Rothman Institute Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, USA. Before this, he served as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran from 2011 to 2020. During his career, he spent 2.5 years at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University for Clinical Observership/Research with the Hand Service which lead to more than 20 publications. Moreover, Dr. Kachooei started his Ph.D. in 2017 at the University of Amsterdam and defended the thesis about Elbow entitled ‘sequelae of injuries of the lateral compartment of the elbow: assessment and possible solutions’ on 3/2021. Dr. Kachooei has worked and collaborated with multiple institutes nationally and internationally which resulted in 9 patent applications, more than 95 peer-reviewed papers, two book chapters, and several presentations around the world. He is currently serving as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Archives of Bone and Joint Surgery Journal.
