-
Researcher of Bone and Joint Research Laboratory
Mr. Mohamad Soveyzi completed his undergraduate studies in Medical Laboratory Sciences at Varastegan Institute for Medical Sciences in 2020. Following that, he pursueda Master's degree in Human Genetics at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, which he completed in 2023. During his Master's program, he conducted research on the utilization of Whole Exome Sequencing for diagnosing neuromuscular disorders, with a specific focus on Ataxia patients.
Throughout his academic journey, he has acquired extensive expertise in molecular andmedical laboratory techniques. He is also proficient in utilizing various programs within Linux systems and possesses advanced knowledge of whole exome and whole genome sequencing analysis. This includes conducting secondary analysis in a Linux environmentand performing tertiary analysis for research anddiagnostic panels. Additionally, he has experience in Metagenomics and is skilled in using Bash and R programming languages. Human genetics diagnosis, next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, tissue regeneration, and regenerative medicine are among his areas of interest. Currently, he isactively contributing as a volunteer research assistant at an orthopedic research center.
