Dr. Moradi received his MD from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS) in 2005, where he is currently an associate professor of Orthopedics. From 2005-2009, he was a resident of Orthopedic Surgery in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. From 2013-2015, he was a research fellow of Hand and Upper Extremity at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. In 2018, he received his clinical fellowship of Hand and Microsurgery from Tehran University of Medical Sciences while also getting his clinical fellowship of Hand and Wrist Arthroscopy from Clinique Bizet, Paris. He has completed his PhD studies on Artificial Limbs in Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS) in 2019. He is the director of hand surgery in MUMS, chief of Bone and Joint Laboratory in MUMS, a member of the Supreme Council of Orthopedic Research Center in MUMS, a member of the Technology Committee in MUMS, a member of Iran's National Foundation of Elites, and the CEO of Avisa Medical Innovators of East. He is also on the editorial board of the Archives of Bone and Joint Surgery (ABJS) journal. He has supervised more than sixty proposals, published 86 journal articles, co-authored 3 published books, and registered 26 national and 4 US patents. He has more than 15 years of experience in General Orthopedics and 7 years of experience in Hand Surgery. His research interests are in the areas of hand surgery, bionic hands, IT, biomechanics, rehabilitation robotics, and external fixators.
